Little Hats, Big Hearts
Do you love spreading heart healthy messaging and encouraging families to live healthier lives? We would love your help with this year’s Little Hats, Big Hearts Program! Little Hats, Big Hearts is a program where we collect and distribute red hats to newborn babies throughout the month of February to raise awareness of congenital heart defects and heart disease.
We are currently looking for volunteers to knit or crochet hats as well as people who would be available to wash and package them for distribution to the local hospitals. if you are interested in participating in this program, please contact Shauna.Tuey@heart.org for more information.
Capital Woman’s Club in Lacey, WA is looking for a speaker to give a 20 minute talk on February 19th, 2018 regarding women’s heart health and warning signs. If you’re interested in this opportunity please contact Shauna.Tuey@heart.org
Health fairs are a great opportunity to reach out to our community to spread our mission of cardiovascular health. By attending and passing out heart health handouts, you will be raising awareness for what the AHA does and our mission! Social Media Ambassador
Become a Social Media Ambassador! By incorporating American Heart Association messages throughout your social media networks you can help your local AHA office spread heart disease and stroke prevention messages in your local community. Simply complete our registration form to get started or contact us for more details! This is an easy way to be an engaged volunteer that is sometimes too busy to come out to events.
Heart Walk Logistics Committee

Would you like to help out in the office at the AHA in downtown Seattle? A few events each month come up that would be great to have volunteers to help with, some activities include: helping with stroke mailings, and learning the ropes of answering the phones.
